In both directions of movement the TPS20 drive starts and stops with reduced speed. Besides the harmonious movement of the gate while also the entire mechanism of the gate and drive is protected

Intelligent sensor for maximum, safety and comfort

Another feature of the TPS20 Series is the highly sensitive and patented sensor for speed measurement. The sensor is able to process  6,200signals/second! For practical purposes, this results in numerous advantages.

   
Self-learning end positions without limit switches for easy operation

All TPS 20 learn automatically the end positions during the installation. Additionally, you can finely adjust the set positions or adapt them to your needs. Mechanical limit switches or magnetic limits that may be defective or freeze in winter, are completely eliminated.

   
Automatic Reversal System ARS for maximum safety

Thanks to the integrated speed sensor the actuator has an automatic reversing system - ARS. If the gate meets an obstacle, the TPS 20 stops immediately and reverses automatically. The highest level of security.

Permanent, active force control with boost function for worry-free operation

The TPS 20 motor regulate actively the power required for the movement. Thus, no matter whether summer or winter operation ensures a smooth operation. Additionally the adaptive power control protects the drive system, since only the actual force necessary is used. In addition, the boost function provides a higher torque at start (50%).

Gearing made of tempered steel for highest reliability

Inside the TPS 20 there is a massive gear unit made of hardened steel.
High quality brand oil oil also ensures optimum lubrication even at low temperatures. The result is an increased reliability and an even longer operation life.

Plug&Play control integrated in housing for maximum ease of use

Also the central unit of the TPS20 belongs to the new generation. The main focus of all our controllers is the easy setting of all functional processes. All parameters as impulse /automatic mode, partial opening, soft stop and much more can be programmed in a very user friendly and time saving way by means of four buttons, a large backlit two-line LCD display and a plain text menu guidance.

As with all tousek sliding gate operators  highest security and reasonable costs are in no contradiction. The TPS 20 is the first opener in the world to be able to monitor separately four resistance contact edges.

The TPS 20 motor is in a class of its own. Even heavy gates weighing up to 2000 kg can be easily set in motion. In addition, the drive is designed for intensive use (80% duty cycle). Thus, even high traffic areas can be reliably automated.

Emergency release with electronic detection

Thus the actuator cannot start operating if the key is still inserted. This prevents
injuries.

Mechanical brake for a safe stop

Only with a mechanical brake you can ensure a totally safe stop, also in case of power failure. Moreover, this locking system is more reliable than the conventional selfl ocking
gear units.

Variety of housing for different applications

Whether freestanding, as the driving column site or in a robust housing - with the many variants of the TPS 20 all wishes are fulfilled. By the TPS 20N, drive and column are wired together and housed in a rugged galvanized steel column. The TPS 20 PRO also has a powder coated aluminum cover. Thanks to its sophisticated design, in both cases many more components can be integrated directly into the column. Thus, you never lose track, even by more complex systems.

More safety for pedestrians thanks to the monitoring of the back area of the gate

For the back area of the gate the TPS20 has an additional photocell input. This allows - even independently from the safety sensing edges – to protect this area during the opening motion. Thus, any contact with the gate is definitely excluded.
